Comparative Study Of Xinjiang Dialect

The Xinjiang county is located in the southwest of Shanxi province, the north belongs to Lvliang’s mountain area, the south is the EMei Mountain hilly area, The central part is a height rank ground composing plain area that is formed by the Fen river.The total geography is the south and north is high, the center is low, the east is high, the west is low.The Fen river crosses from the east to the west,that makes difference in xinjiang dialect,at the same time,because of the geography factor of river,mountain and so on,xinjiang dialect is divided into four dialect districts,that is Fennan one small area, two small areas, Fenbei one small area, two small area.The thesis gives a full research on author’s mother tongue,the Xinjiang dialect.A general description of the city area dialect’s phonetic system about the initials,finals and tones have been gotten from my fieldwork and Zhuyaolong’s xinjiang dialect’s records.The author describes in detail the features of the pronunciation,reveals its internal consistency and difference.In addition,the corresponding law of the xinjiang dialect and mediae val dialect have been concluded from the diachronic comparison about xinjiang and mediae val dialect SO as to give a further understanding to the xinjiang dialects development.The paper is totally divided into6chapter.Chapter One briefly gives an Introduction to the geographical background,the changes of the districts in history,and the background of humanities;there is a survey of the study of the xinjiang dialects;there is a a brief comment on the dialectological situation of xinjiang;there is a description of the purpose of the research as well as its methods;at the same time, it mainly shows the spots,the sources of the materials used in the thesis and co-partner of pronunciation.Chapter Two describes the phonological system of xinjiang city dialect, it shows the initials,finals and tone of city area dialect and has manufactured the xinjiang city dialect single pronunciation table and the unison dictionary,in order to reflects xinjiang city dialect pronunciation the complete picture.Chapter Three and Four and Five form the major part of this paper. In the third chapter,the author compares the initials of Fennan and Fenbei dialect.Final comparison is done in the fourth chapter,and a tone comparison is made in the fifth chapter,including tones of single words and tone sandhi in di-tonal groups.At the last,it takes a simple summary.Chapter six is Conclusion. It mainly carries on summary from the consistency and difference both side of xinjiang dialect and points out mountain,river factor and age difference is the main reason of xinjiang dialect speech internal difference.
