Distinct from literature translation, expository writing text requires the translatorto comprehend the source language correctly and express exactly. Accuracy ofconveying information is extremely important. By translating a training course of acorporation, the following problems are discussed in the paper, such as thoughts onthe three steps of the translation process, which are comprehension, expression, andproofreading. Is it faithful to the original text when the translator comprehending theoriginal text? Does it accord with the target language pattern when the translatorexpresses the target language? Which steps and skills can help perfect the translationwhen proofreading is carried out? Some of the pre-task preparation sections cannotbe neglected, such as, reading and learning related materials, studying of technicalterms.The paper includes three chapters. The first chapter is the introductions of theproject. The second chapter is the overall review of the whole process of translationand the problems and thoughts the translator came upon. The third chapter is theconclusion of the translation and the translator’s experience and summarization.
