This thesis has put forward three generative simulation schemes for Chinese affected "ai" sentence and its semantic and syntactic phenomenon, in order to generate well-formed "ai" sentences, filter out ill-formed ones, and fully interpret its semantic and syntactic phenomenon.The "subcategorization" scheme is over-generative. Taking "principles and parameters theory" as its theory source, this scheme noted that all "ai" sentences have formulated in the lexicon based on the subcategorization of the affected verb "ai", and then generate directly all types of "ai" sentences according to the phrase rule. However, it cannot screen out the generation of ungrammatical sentences and provide comprehensive interpretation on the passive meaning. In addition, the processing method for "de" construction after the verb "ai" is no less then expediency, not to explore to the evolution history of "dse" construction.The "Double object construction" scheme is under-generative, which rooted in the early framework of the minimalist program theory. It has given reasonable interpretation to the semantic and syntactic relation between "ai" sentences with agent and the ones without agent. But it is not able to simulate and generate "ai+VP" sentences, and other phenomenons, especially the passive meaning, are far from solution.The last "complex predicates" scheme is perfect relatively, which mainly sources from new framework of the minimalist program theory and meanwhile absorbs some methods from "principle and parameter theory". It not only simulate the generation process of all grammatical "ai" sentences through applying three VP layers, but also provide deep and clear interpretation to the semantic and syntactic phenomenon:(1) The passive meaning:complex predicates’transitivity determines the existence of passive meaning in "ai" sentences. The transitive complex predicates could select Pro as external object, which would take the experiencer subject in the control domain as its antecedents. In this light, the experiencer subject would take on double semantic identification of experiencer and patient, and then passive meaning came.(2) Derivation of "ai" sentence with agent:Transitive complex predicate has three-place thematic construction which supplies a foundation for the derivation of "ai" sentence with its agent. That is to say,"ai" sentence with its agent can be obtained through inserting another vP to introduce the action’s agent in the syntactic operation.(3) The main component of "ai" complex predicates are still in the original characteristic----verb, its nominal characteristic, such that it cannot take aspectual markers and objects and that it cannot be modified by adverbial and complement, are natural products of this complex predicate.(4)"de"construction: After derailing from the orbit of formal grammar,"de" construction in "ai sentence is gradually coming into beings through reanalysis process based on the initial construction derived from syntactic computation.Through evaluating the three schemes above, the thesis has drawn a conclusion that the "complex predicate" scheme is the most suitable simulation to the generative process of Chinese "ai sentence.
