This paper studies and analyzes techniques of modern fork embroidered costume.Research objects in this paper fall into three categories: First, the archaeological reports onembroidery in the "Heritage" since1956and "archaeology" since1976, as well as previousresearch results. Second, fork embroidered costume handed down for generations preserved inYangtze University Han Chinese Costume Museum and Nantong Zhuang Jinyun studio. Third,the daily record of work in Zhuang Jinyun studio and the interview with Zhang Lei and LiuYun.Firstly, analyzes the archaeological reports in order to clean up the emergence anddevelopment of the embroidery stitch. We find that the development of Suzhou embroideryincludes three period: the formation, differentiation and separation. Moreover, Suzhouembroidery in modern times is a result of the development of traditional technique,it has thecharacteristic of continuance, historical and continuance. This job put forward the value andsignificance of Suzhou embroidery research.Then, This paper made the definition of Soochow embroidery technique in modern forkembroidered costume with the combination of geographic and style. Based on above analysis,we determined the research objects. On the basis of sorting and file these costume, weresearched in the aspect of position, composition, its subject matter and color arrange.Thispart tries to make a special study about modern embroidery through taking a whole look at theembroidery this period.Finally, the study further refinement to the Suzhou embroidery stitch. First, summing upthe common stitches in modern costume embroidery through practice and study,as well asdrawing stitch chart. On this basis, detailed analytic steps and scope of application of theneedle for each stitch, and further analysis of the characteristics of modern clothing productsin Suzhou embroidery stitch, forming a complete folk costume needle system. At the sametime, this paper compares painting embroidery and embroidered costume to clear theirdistinction, then explore the relationship between emotion and artistic effect from theperspective of emotional expression.Selecting fork embroidered costume as the research object, we conducted in-depth studyfrom the perspective of traditional skills. This dissertation relies on a lot of materials as wellas cultural and historical documents. We researched,analyzed and induced the conclusionsthough practice and investigation. Then the universality and the regularity of forkembroidered costume in aspect of colors and stitches are summarized through the method ofmathematical statistics. This study has important cultural and academic values for theprotection of Chinese intangible cultural heritage. |
