This paper describes the causes and the present situation of Russian "Chinesefever".the Russian demand for Chinese learning and Chinese language teachers andteaching in Hulunbuir area. The Paper mainly makesA survey of and discusses the historical period of the region, and the past twodecades about the Russian Chinese learning. Also, it contrasts the Chinese languageteaching between Hulunbuir and its neighboring Russian regions. According to theactual situation of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language in Hulunbuir area, andproposes necessary measures to cope with.This paper contains a total of six parts, each part of which reads as follows:The first chapter is the introduction to the significance of this study, the scope ofthe study and the research methods.The second chapter is about the situation before the50s. It deals with the timeand reason Russians entered Hulunbuir, their main residence regions and theoccupation in the region as well as their education.The third chapter is the case since the90s. It also introduces Chinese traininginstitutions, curriculum and faculty survey in the region, and compares the Chinese asa foreign language teaching in Hulunbuir and the Russian border regions.The fourth chapter focuses on the results of the questionnaire.The fifth chapter expounds TCFL existing problems in Hulunbuir area andproposes strategies to cope with.Final conclusion part of this article makes a concise summary and generalization,and points out the inadequacies of the paper, as well as the content of next phase.
