This thesis focuses on the charm of reasonable compatibility in the Chinese bird painting. Byanalysis of differently emotional and rational effects on painting, especially on the Chinesebird painting, this study tries to improve the Chinese bird painting to the field of aestheticpsychology from the motivation and materials of creation. The purpose of this thesis is toexamine the creation of Flower and Bird from different views. As the middle of psychologyand psychology, aesthetic psychology plays a very important role, especially for aesthetics, onthe scope of psychological study. Aesthetic psychology will provide more theoretical supporton artistic creation in the future. As a branch of aesthetic psychology, the mutual relationshipbetween emotion and ration prominently sums up the psychological theory that the artistsintentionally or unintentionally express in the process of painting. In the painting, it is a newfield in studying artistic psychology that emotional factors or theoretical factors have moreimpact on art creation. As a painting subject in Chinese traditional painting works, flowersand birds, both in form and method, are able to represent a unique artistic features of Chinesepainting. And play a vital role in the development of the Chinese Painting.This article along this research direction, selects the creation of the Chinese bird and flowerpainting as subject of study, and researches the road of Flowers and Birds creation inpsychology respectively from the emotional and rational aspects.This thesis will analyze the charm of reasonable compatibility Chinese Flowers and Birdspainting in four parts. The first part describes the emotional manifestation of interest inChinese painting, and is divided into four parts. They are specific painting emotionalgermination, emotion as the soul of artistic creation, painting emotional expression andemotion in the bird, and flower painting to convey; The second part describes the embodimentof rational factors in the bird and flower painting. This part consists of specific interpretationsof the rational concept, the role of sketching in the bird and flower painting, and how tosketch; The third part discusses the emotional and rational contradiction and unity, and isdivided into specific emotional and rational contradictions, the rational in the emotional, and the unity of ration and emotion; The fourth Part explains and summarizes the "wonderful inbetween like and not like" which reflects the emotional and rational relationship. It isdiscussed in two aspects: the similarities and differences between "shape" and "meaning" andthe scenes of “like and not like”.By listing the outstanding works of well-known ancient and modern painters, combining withthe psychology of emotional and rational principle, the author analyzes and synthesizes thedifference roles of emotion and reason in the creative process of the bird and flower painting.The principle is pure reason not out of the passionate and pure sensibility not out of ration.Even in the same circumstances, the impact of emotional and rational creation is different,the painter through the observation of life, and images, sketches, and on this basis,according to their own experience and insights to create works of art full of their ownemotional. In the art world of Emotion and Reason, the artists pursue a kind of "like and notlike" artistic spirit. This spirit of art is the essence of Chinese painting.
