Simple And Solemn

The core in this paper is the analysis on Chao Ge’s painting style from2001to2007.Since2000,the chinese painting which experienced the art of Chinese cultural revolution and "fine arts modish" in1985has gradually goes diversified.At this time,Chao Ge draw on the experience of Classical painting to draw the pasture images His works showed simple and solemn.This style is choised by himself in the trend of the time independently. He did not follow the art fashion or colluded with the market but based on his own artistic experience and conditions for the inner pursuit. These works included his exploring on the traditional painting and the complex psychological statu between the inner and the reality. In the argument,the paper explore the source of his style according to his inner yearning, growth environment and art background etc. At the same time,this paper also combined with painting technique characteristics,image,psychology to depth demonstrate the art of Chao Ge’s drawing style and the meaning.This paper also hopes that through the research of Chao Ge’s painting style,to contribute some reference and guidance for the forming of painting style in contemporary practice that every has to face.
