The Study On Wang Zhen And His Xiang Army

Wang Zhen is a brave general. He was living in the period of the Tai Ping HeavenlyKingdom movement. When Xiang Army founded, Wang Zhen was the first one that ascholar led the forces. He was joined in the suppression of the uprising when Xiang Armyattacked the Tai Ping Heavenly Kingdom movement, and won the wars many times. In thispaper, I had Systematic study of the Xiang Army which belonged to Wang Zhen. I focusedon the Military thinking. The main object of study is the historical activities of his army.The paper is divided into five aspects: the first part had discussed the establishment ofthe Xiang Army and the Historical achievements of Wang Zhen. The second part introducedthe wars of Wang Zhen in Hubei and Jiangxi, and studied the role of his army in these twobattlefields. The third part researched Wang’s military training, discipline, tactics, and so on.The fourth part explained the relationship of Wang Zhen. The interpersonal included by ZengGou Fan, Luo Ze Nan, Zuo Zong Tang. The study reflected the faction struggle of them, andit affected Wang’s army. The last part researched that Wang Kai Hua and other generalscommanded his army to fight for Tai Ping army when Wang Zhen died. they inherited anddeveloped Wang Zhen’s methods.The paper Started from the microscopic, which analyzed the military activities of WangZhen’s army.
