Although oil painting originated in Europe, however, when it became an international artmedia, the nationalities are just the artists’ label. Thus, the diversity of the oil painting is moreclosely related to the identity of the painter instead of the characteristics of its media.Thedifferent grown backgrounds of and cultural influence of the artists inevitably displaythrough their creations. Oil paintings can be expressed in concrete form, abstract form, andalso the image form. Form the perspective of visual identity, the image form covers the widespace between concrete form and abstract form. However, the different expressions involvenot only the technicals, but more importantly, the cultural background. The creations ofindividual artists are diversity, while the same ethnic and cultural backgrounds will inevitablyaffects the artists.Under the influence of Chinese culture, although the artists showes a widerange of creative style, but the aesthetic cognition which prefer the image became undeniablyChina’s artists intrinsic motivation.While the artist’s creations are due to their aestheticawareness, but the choices of the external environment are also an important reason leading toan art style. With the development of technology makes the visual world has witnessed greatchanges, viewer’s aesthetic changes of the visual image inevitably impact of the creations ofthe artists. Consequently, in their consciously and unconsciously environments, artists choosetheir own way of expression subjectively and a passively.Oil painting as a medium of artistic creation, but due to the attribution of the status of theartist, which makes also left the creators of works of art of the environment in which branding."Artist" is not only a profession belong, is also a kind of social identity attributes. Artistidentity in the real world is not entirely independent of a group, their survival must attach tothe social division of labor on the identity of a certain position, this independence also revealsthe existence of non-independence of the art itself. All aspects of political, economic,religious, and national entities of the inevitable impact of Arts and culture development, artitself and at the same time there is an internal system complete and rational system.
