The Study Of The Sentence Pattern "Chayidian"

This paper takes the syntactical structure “Chayidian VP” in the modern Chinese asthe research objective. After the concrete analysis and convey for the presentations ofsyntax and semantics as the collocation of “Chayidian” with predication structure happens,it discusses the correspondent rules of the syntactical structure “Chayidian VP”.There arefive parts in this paper. The first part is the introduction which introduces the researchliterature, the research objectives and significance, the research method, the scopedefinition and explanation of this paper and so on. The second part, the author gives aminute description for the syntactic distribution of the following structures. The secondpart also analyzes the different collocations of “Chayidian” with different predicationstructures. And in this part,from the syntactic angle,mainly studies the “Chayidian”structure’s syntactic function and gets a conclusion that the structure has its specialnegativity which delivers either the “Jiejin” or the “Fouding”. This part gives a semanticanalysis for the affirmative and negative pattern’s collocation of the structure “ChayidianVP”, which find out the reason why the sentence pattern “Chayidian+Mei+VP” leads toambiguity. And the ambiguity exists because of the word “Mei” which can refers to eitherthe forward or the after part. The third part is the research’s key point and innovation. Inthis part, the author analyzes the ambiguity of the sentence pattern “Chayidian+Mei+VP” and tries to introduce a new interpretation model. Besides, this section also gets aconclusion that the sentence pattern has two kinds of interpretation model: the affirmativepattern and the negative pattern with different possibilities, and its differentiation rely onthe context. The forth part mainly gives some teaching suggestions from the angle of thesecond language teaching and some problems which should be paid attention to whenteach the second language, which are hoped to be helpful for the second languageteaching.The firth is conclusion, this part summarizes the pros and cons of the article.
