In Chinese traditional art forms, painting, as one of the crucial cultural resources, in this colorful and complex society and circumstance of cutural art languange and multi-form development, has become a spiritual and psychological carrier for many artists because its purity, spiritual-emptiness, and indifferntness. In contemporary Chinese culture and art, its value of exsitance and room of development is undeniable. however, although art is closely related to contemporary social background and surviving circumstances, and it is consistantly accepting all kinds of cutural information and resources, it is found in many art works, that, there is little relation between the art languange the artists applly and the figure and feeling it embodies.this is a question worth of deep thinking. The reason why the author mentions " the fomular of painting " and " the presence of painting", is that he id trying to analyze and discuss the art of painting, from an aspect of art creation subject, in order to get rid of the limitation of traditional painting form. The term "get rid of" does not refer to absolute abandance, but a reconstruction of the elements correspond with the current feeling of the subject and the objects it desplays under the condition of a fully understanding of the spiritual connotation of traditional painting forms. There is no doubt that, for the creator who is in the process of painting, only through the "presence" and "closely" experience and apprecialtion the life which arouses the inner feeling, and the usage of art language which is linked to the passion, the scene and the mind, can he creat the trully lively art works.
