| English pronunciation attrition is one of the problems that bring trouble to teachers of English major students. In order to investigate what pronunciation subskills are atrrited and the reasons for pronunciation attrition, the author chose70English major undergraduates and conducted English pronunciation proficiency tests and questionnaire investigation. From the data collection and analysis, the author found the reasons for English pronunciation attrition in English major students and factors affecting such attrition, then put forward constructive strategies to help students retain and improve English pronunciation and fight against attrition. |
