With the development of modernization and globalization of the world, English teaching is playing a more and more important role in recent years. The "Teaching Syllabus for English Majors" approved by Ministry of Education require much more for English major teaching in March,2000. Therefore, the teaching reforms for English majors were carried out among the universities and colleges before the training programs were revised. The integrative course reform is the core part of the teaching reforms for English majors. The author of the paper who chooses integrative course teaching strategies as the starting point investigates whether the implement of the teaching strategies is consistent with the main idea of "New Training Program".Selecting language points and language skills as the object, the thesis analyzes the teaching strategies for integrative course by performing classroom observation, questionnaires, interviews and literature research, etc.. The conclusions made from the above will draw more attention to teaching strategies for English majors, in which it will put more emphasis on learner-centered teaching methods and an overall development of students’four language skills. Moreover, some recommendations are proposed for more efficiency in the teaching for English majors.
