Yao Nai(1731——1815),TongCheng An Hui, is a famous prose writer ofTongcheng school in QingDyansty.His literary achievenment is not confined toclassical prose. He also write poems and has a clear theory which are fined in hispoem prefaces. Researchers paied more attention to Yao’s prose,while ignoring hispoetry.It’s necessary to research Yao’s poetic theory and creation which may enrichhis literature image.This paper mainly divided into three parts, namely the introduction, text andending. The introduction illustrates the significance, the review of the currentresearch status, this paper expounds the ideas and approaches and methods. Themain body part includes four chapters. ChapterⅠhas two points, mainly discussesthe YaoShi poetic thought. Chapter II has three points. The departure of threeaspects of the landscape from Yao poem embodies the feelings, friendship, writingand life consciousness, combined with concrete poetry, contact CreativeBackground on Yao’s unique poetry implication. Chapter III discusses thecharacteristics of Yao poetic style. Respectively around the two aspects of the "castthe Tang and Song" and "Prose Poems" to start on. The former is Yao Nai purposeof poetry and also a characteristic of the poetic style; latter Yao classical ups anddowns the law, the use of poetry writing as poetic style.ChapterⅣ disscus Yao’spoetry. The last section is due to summarize the paper.In conclusion, based on the poem and the theory,combined with Yao, thispaper summes up Yao’s poetic thought and the poetry style. Based on Yao Nai’spoetic thoughts and poetry creation of literary history, restore its image, finallyclear Yao is not only the Tongcheng faction of the prose writer, but also a poet.
