This paper tried to deeply think about how to make design a sell in the current circumstance of the age. basically, design is aimed to serve the consumers, while manufacturing is for meeting the needs of the market, therefore, if designers want to make their product own the market,they should, first of all, get to know the real requirement of consumers. Designers should build the insight of that, and by combining the needs of the market they can make their design more effective and popular. The reasonable information conveying not only bring the consumer satisfying visual effect, but also provoke the consumption gaining more profit for the enterprise. Marketing management should put their feet into the place of consumers to provide the desirable product in terms of both creativity and catering the demands of people.The paper presented statement in four parts. With examples, the first part cleaned out the new reflection on the design under the circumstance of the developing market-oriented economy, and explained the relationship between the market and design industry, rising certain question to stretch the paper. The second part brought up a new definition of design with discussing the psychology and needs of consumers. When comes to the third part, the paper supplied the theory for practicing with analyzing cases. In the last part of the paper, the author presented the statement of graphic design from marketing.
