In the process of teaching Chinese as second language practice, I realized that, to carry out the comparison of Chinese and the other languages is one of the most effective way to improve the quality of teaching. This recognition is mainly based on language learning. Migration and the "interference" theory. If a foreign language structure, has its corresponding structure, the study will appear a positive phenomenon, the "migration". That is to say, language in this structure can be directly transferred into the foreign language; on the other hand, if the language has no corresponding structure to people’s mother tongue, it will produce a negative "migration", which is also called "interference" phenomenon, however, this "interference" phenomenon will more or less affect the learning of a foreign language. The importance of the tone is often overlooked. But as long as people speak, they can not do without tone. Tone is not only used in the performing arts, but also in people’s everyday life, which has an important role and practical significance. Different tone can indicate the different semantics, at the same time semantics can affect the tone of use. So none of the speakers can use the tone as they like. Instead they have to obey the rules.Broadly speaking, no matter what form of comparison, in fact, in the final analysis, are the similarities and differences of the comparison. General case, in the process of comparison, we have to find out to similarities and differences between the two points, and then compare. With the comparison, we can identify. We can know the truth. This fully reflects a fact that when people want to tell the similarities and differences between two things, a deeper understanding of the characteristics of things, the nature and process of the law comes out. On the way of understanding of things, at first, people may just know a little, then know more, the perception by the appearance of things comes deep into the inner rational knowledge of things. So does language. In order to recognize the characteristics of Chinese language, we should compare with the non-Chinese. Voice, vocabulary or grammar, can be studied by comparison. Contrast is the key to teaching and it is also a key to identifying the teaching content between the "comparison point" and the contrast in the form."Comparison point" comes from a "different point" and the "same point" for teaching. What’s more important, in the teaching process, teachers can help students by contrast to pedagogy, so that students can grasp the similarities and differences, knowledge of the method. In this article, which is common to compare differences of the language tone in the process of Chinese language teaching and foreign language teaching in the phase with and. Comparing teaching method can help students to ask questions, analyze and solve problems, and inductive generalization problems; It can also help students of divergent thinking ability; It can help develop students ability to innovate; It can help to deepen students’knowledge understanding and consolidate knowledge. By comparing teaching methods, students can make the abstract theory become more user-friendly, and classroom atmosphere is more active. With that method, it can stimulate student curiosity and thirst for knowledge, and guide students to think, so that students can ask questions, and learn to analyze and solve problems so that students can more deeply understand the teaching content, and their memory will become more solid. The teachers’teaching effect will also be more upgraded, so as to guarantee and improve the quality of teaching to lay a stable foundation. With doing the comparison the Chinese tone and intonation of English, this article aims to discuss contrasting method in the Chinese teaching to the foreign students.
