The Study On Qiu Shuyuan’s Old Style Of Literature

Shuyuan (1874-1941), Fujian Haicheng (now Zhangzhou Longhai), A patriotic overseas Chinese residing in Singapore. His whole life in its own way to persist in using classical creation.His writing rich,and known as "South Pacific Almon".The study on Shuyuan Mainly in Singapore, study of his literary creation mainly in poems, for the old style literature is not systematic analysis and research.In particular, the value of his notes not been seriously or even almost never mentioned. This paper attempts to combing the life expositions, the poetic thoughts of Shuyuan and interpretation of Shuyuan poems, notes.And his poetical works as a case study, in order from the overall and local comprehensive analysis the characteristics and value of the Shuyuan’s old style literature. And use appendix to sort out home literati anecdotes in the works of Shuyuan., in order to reflect his love of hometown literature.
