Marxism And The Development Of Contemporary Chinese Aesthetics

After three great debates in the last century, the studies of the contemporary Chinese Aesthetics changed in the eighties20st century a lot, especially changed in objects and purposes of the research.The contemporary Chinese Aesthetics changed its study objects from the former "beauty" and "nature of beauty" to the "aesthetic phenomenon",and the study purposes also changed from the search of beauty to the reveal of the process and rules in the aesthetic phenomenon.These transitions fully demonstrate that the philosophical view and the methodology of Marxism affect a lot to the developments of the contemporary Chinese Aesthetics, especially change the thinking method, which is the transition from the thingking of Ontology to the practical thinking method.The article uses the practical methodology of Marxism to analyze the changes in the Chinese Aesthetics and points out that the first step of the development of aesthetics should start from the discarding of the thingking of Ontology, which focus on the search of beauty,and should study on the specific aesthetic phenomenon, from whose elements---aesthetic objects, aesthetic subjects and aesthetic feelings---are the reason, process and rules of the aesthetic phenomenon revealed. The paper explains the process of the development of the contemporary Chinese Aesthetics, analyzes its essential views and reveals the future of the Chinese Aesthetics on the angle of changes in the study objects and purposes of the contemporary Chinese Aesthetics.
