Study In Entitled Zhao Mengfu’s "Six Styles Thousand-Word Writing"

Zhao mengfu’s "six styles Thousand-Word Writing" is a piece of calligraphy masterscript. However, some scholar are not interested in the calligraphy masterscript, so we almost do not read some research articles about this art treasure. The "six styles Thousand-Word Writing" is not only one calligraphy treasure, but also has some important value of researching Chinese Philology and Classical Documents. Researching aim to this thesis is Zhao mengfu’s "six styles Thousand-Word Writing" which makes the higher study.This thesis is including three aspects:The first one is that the "six styles Thousand-Word Writing" is recorded and hand down. Firstly, we know the text’s reconding and spreading through the reconding writings、stamps and inscriptive writing. And then judged that the text is authentic work is wrong and the true author of the text. In this part, we make the "six styles Thousand-Word Writing" to the point to study the aspect of the Yuan Dynast’s calligraphy art in the background of retro style. The study shows that the the Yuan Dynast’s calligraphy art is very special in the history of Chinese calligraphy style and succeed to and developed the previous art styles.The second one is the text’s Archaic Chinese and commentary and subcommentary. The research methods included configuration analysis、textual research on the interpretation of law、comprehensive comparative law and research achievements and methods of Archaic Chinese. The conclusion is that the text’s Chinese is Archaic Chinese, the main is the characters of the Period of Warring States. The writing of Archaic Chinese is so called "kedou"(one kind of animal is called tadpole)style of writing which is the main style of writing on the "six styles Thousand-Word Writing". Because of the lack the new research documents, some researchers do not like this study. But author found the new evidence from the Yuan Dynast’s Archaic Chinese:one is the Archaic Chinese complies with the tradition of the works inscriptions and ancient bronzes and stone tablets; the other is that the Archaic Chinese is regarded as the independment artwork.The three one is the textual research about the "six styles Thousand-Word Writing". Wen know the relation of the"six styles Thousand-Word Writing"with Zhong You、Wang Xizhi and Zhou Xingsi and give the reasonable explanation about rhyme of "Thousand-Word Writing"through research and analysis lots of documents. The study shows that the author of "Thousand-Word Writing" are Zhong You and Wang Xizhi, but Zhou Xingsi afreshed the rhyme by the order of Emperor Wudi of Liang Dynasty. The "Thousand-Word Writing"is regarded as a classcial calligraphy artwork in the history of Chinese calligraphy.
