The paper mainly adopts methods of objective description, qualitative and quantitative analysis and contrastive analysis to research loanwords from Japanese in Chinese and Korean.The main points of the paper:1.Collecting and sorting loanwords from Japanese in Korean.2.Making a contrastive analysis on loanwords from Japanese in Chinese and Korean.Chapter1mainly expounds the significance, purpose, range and methods of the study and defines terms which are mainly used in the paper. Moreover the previous research status and existing problems of the subject are summarized in this chapter.Chapter2mainly describes loanwords from Japanese in Chinese objectively. In this chapter the history, the quantity, fields of use and types of loanwords from Japanese are described objectively. And then we studied similarities and differences between loanwords and original Japanese words through pronunciation, formation and meaning. Finally the position of loanwords from Japanese in the system of the whole Chinese loanwords as well as the influence of loanwords from Japanese to Chinese vocabulary are explored in the part.Chapter3mainly describes loanwords from Japanese in Korean objectively. In this chapter the history, the quantity, fields of use and types of loanwords from Japanese are described objectively. And then we studied similarities and differences between loanwords and original Japanese words through pronunciation, formation and meaning. Finally the position of loanwords from Japanese in the system of the whole Korean loanwords as well as the influence of loanwords from Japanese to Korean vocabulary are explored in the chapter.Chapter4makes a contrastive study on loanwords from Japanese in Chinese and Korean through the history, quantity, pronunciation, formation, meaning and influence to Chinese and Korean.Chapter5analyses the causes of similarities and differences between loanwords in Chinese and Korean and summarizes rules of language contact.Chapter6makes a summary of the paper.
