Wittgenstein’s scientific philosophy can be traced through an evolutional path. In his earlywork Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus, Wittgenstein marked a clear-cut boundary to separateempirical science from philosophy with both verbal and non-verbal lines. But what reallyinterested him seemed to focus on the issues such as the logic structure which was incompatiblewith the explanation of scientific language, the isomorphic relationship between logic structureof language and empirical world, and the meaning of world. Thus, there is some discrepancybetween Wittgenstein’s interests and logic empiricism which rejected metaphysics in favor ofempirical science. This can be regarded as a thinking clue of the transition from his early periodto late period. In his late work Philosophische Untersuchungen, Wittgenstein, mainly throughthe language game concept, defended daily language and daily life, criticized artificial languageand critiqued essentialism so as to provide a daily language dimension or historical and culturaldimension to how humanity perceive and examine science.
