Research On Influence Of Peasants’ Inner Life Under The Situation Of Christian Propagation

Along with the deepening of the Reform and Opening-up, and the forwarding of the sociailist cause, Chinese peasants ask more about the level and the quality of their inner lives. According to the investigations of the goverment, the Christian propagation in Chinese’rural areas are very fast and universal right now, leading to a Christian trend. Studying on the influence of peasants’inner lives under the situation of Christian propagation can help us get a cleaner understanding of peasants’spiritual needs and the culture construction of the new socialist countryside. Therefore, the research is very useful and meaningful.First of all, I reviewed the literature of the Christian propogation during the period of social transformation, and summed up the characteristics, reasons and procession of the propogation. Meantime, I aslo reviewed the literature of the present situation of the peasants’ inner lives, preparing for the whole paper.Secondly, I divided the propagation of Christianity in China into three stages, and analysed the reasons of Christian trend in Chinese rural areas. Then, I elaboratie the general situation of Christian propogation in Chinese rural areas from three aspects which are present situation, methods and localization. Based on above, I analysed the positive and negative impaction of Christian propogation towards countryside.Thirdly, I took the F town in the city of Huangshi, Hubei province, and the C village in the city of Changchun, Jilin province as investigation objects to make a comparative study, which foucs on Propagation, Belief level, Ceremony and Festival. Though the study I found the new characteristics of Christian propagation in Chinese rural areas. Compared with other religions, the Chirstian faith is bidirectional and have a higher level. Then, I analysed the positive and negative impaction of the Christian propagation which foucs on peasants’interpersonal relationship, culture product consumption, and spritual level.Finally, Based on above, I gave some suggtestion to develop the Christianity in Chinese rural area, and enrich the peasants’inner life under the new situation.This article is developed into several parts as bellows:Chapter1:An introduction including the background, the signifiance, the literature the research review, idea and methodology, and so on. Chapter2:The general situation of Christian propagation, including the present status of the propagation, the method of propagation, and the Christian localization in Chinese rural area.Chapter3:A elaboration of the present situation of peasants’ inner life in Chinese rural area, under the background of social transformation.Chapter4:According to the present situation of peasants’inner life, I analysed the impaction on Christian propagation towards Chinese peasants’inner life. Then I gave a comparative study bewteen a town and a village to find out the new characteristics of Christian propagation.Chapter5:Conclusion and proposal.
