’zhe’’le’’guo’are three main dynamic auxiliary words in Chinese. Dynamic auxiliary words are frequently used and have many usages, so it is not easy for Vietnamese students to use them correctly. This thesis, through profound analysis of the grammatical meaning and function of dynamic auxiliary words in modern Chinese, aims to make a survey of the common errors made by Vietnamese students when they acquire the dynamic auxiliary words and then proposes corrective means. Such methods as comparison, investigation and analysis are employed in the research. This paper consists of three chapters besides an introduction. The first chapter is a discussion on the grammatical function and features of dynamic auxiliary words in modern Chinese and Vietnamese. Meanwhile, a comparison is made and similarities and differences are analyzed. The second chapter, through a survey of the students in the department of Chinese language and literature of Hue Foreign Language University, analyzes the common errors occurred when Vietnamese students acquire Chinese dynamic auxiliary words. The third chapter, based on the results of the survey, puts forward corrective strategies for the common errors occurred when Vietnamese students acquire the Chinese dynamic auxiliary words’zhe’’le’’guo’. According to the results of the survey, the author finds out that three errors are frequently made by students when they study and use dynamic auxiliary words. They are incorrect position of dynamic auxiliary words, confusion of dynamic auxiliary word’le’and modal particle’le’and other errors. The main reason for those errors is that Vietnamese students learn grammar when they don’t grasp part of speech well, thus they gradually lose interest in studying and cannot fully master dynamic auxiliary words ’zhe’’le’’guo’. Besides, Students don’t compare, distinguish and synthesize what they have learned, so they cannot grasp the similarities and differences between them. Moreover, the students are influenced by their mother tongue-Vietnamese. In order to overcome the mistakes mentioned above, the most important thing the students need to do is to master the essence, features and usage of dynamic auxiliary words, especially their particular position in sentences. Besides, they need to grasp other sentence elements which have similar function to dynamic auxiliary words, such as modal particle’le’, single directional complements, compound directional complements and so on. Meanwhile, to avoid making the same mistakes again, comparison should be made between Chinese and Vietnamese and similarities and differences should be find out.
