| This article chooses the story type named "take treasures from the Dragon Palace" as the object of research. The aim of this article is to obtain the clues of changes in Chinese social oceanic consciousness.There are three obvious changes of this type in Chinese history. The first change is the two motifs "Dragon Palace" and "the Dragon King" introduced from the Buddhist scriptures, extend the marine space of literature in China. Influenced by the relations between Tang dynasty and Turkistan, the result of the second change was the story that "people ask for the treasures from the Dragon Palace with the way of exchanging goods with goods". Due to the development of Chinese oceanic operation among the Song dynasty and Yuan dynasty, the third change has come out with the story that "people force the Dragon Palace to submit the magic weapons with witchcraft and used them to overcome the difficulties in realistic life". Additional, this article treats the appearance of contemporary story of oceanic fishes as the sprout of the fourth shift.Precious deposits of the Dragon Palace are the representative of ocean and the transmutation of the story type of "take treasures from the Dragon Palace" represents the shift of human oceanic consciousness. The revelation from the difference categories of this story in different times is that the relationship between humanity and ocean has experienced ordinal changes, which are "reciprocal","menace and plunder" and "sprout of friendly relations". Sorcery thinking of this type reached to the peak during the period of the "take treasures from the Dragon Palace forcibly" story.
