As a product of the second generation of cognitive science, embodied cognition and embodied emotion, it emphasizes the body involved in cognitive activity and emotional activity, not the first generation of cognitive science, which said the cognition was disembodied,which is purely symbolic processing.Reaching for the two kinds of embodied phenomenon, mainly through the behavior control to observe the subjects’task reaction,or Showing with body-related stimuli to observe the subjects’ neural activity by fMRI. But ERP technology to study is not too much,however, the rare especially the ones about auditory channel and left-right spatial. The reason for using the left-right spatial is they to be located by body, that relate to embodiment, and in Chinese folk culture,the concept of "nanzuonvyou", This folk has continued for thousands of years, This long-term culture may be would have the nerve structure impact, this effect may be reflected in the neural activity and cognitive processing.Therefore,this study has added these two elements of the "left-right" space and gender as experimental variable.In this study,I use mono binaural dichotic listening paradigm, neutral sound stimulus are vowels and vowel’speech, pronunciation is divided into male voice pronunciation and female voice pronunciation, The sound stimulation of the emotional are cries and laughter, the pronunciation is also divided into male voice pronunciation and female voice pronunciation.30college students participated in the EEG experiment including15boys and15girls.The EEG experimental results found,neutral sound both male and female stimulate the Nland P2wave, and the midline electrodes (FZ,FCZ,CZ) recorded on the P2wave about left-right effects of gender. Male voice in the left channel induced P2had higher voltage than in the right channel. Girls then induce the opposite voltage. That showed the left side on the male sensitivity stronger, the right side of the greater sensitivity on the female.Under the emotional sound stimulus conditions the experimental study found that in the condition of crying, the brain waves recorded in the Central District electrode CZ, male vioce’s Nl and female voice’s P2showed the left-right effects of gender. But this effect does not appear in the laughter of the conditions. Performance regardless of male or female, the brain waves recorded in the Central District electrode CZ.(the male voice was Nl,the female voice was P2), both more sensitive to the sound presented by the right channel, and induced higher voltage.Experimental results showed that,in the conditions of neutral sound stimuli the left-right effects of gender effects were obvious, because left-right spatial can’t without body, so in this condition the effects of "embodiment" are existence; while in the condition of emotional voice,only found in the condition of crying,in the conditions of laughter,only to see the brain laterality effects on emotion.
