On The Noble Women’s Social Status Of The Zhou Dynasty

Since ancient times,women’problem has been paid attention by historians.Humanity is composed by male and female,therefore,The entire history of the human isautually scintillating by both sexes plays.The development of human history cannotsurvive without female.Visibly,women’issues is essential.If leaving the women issues tostudy the history, our historical science is not the stereo and the all-round. This paperemphasizes the noble women’s social status of Zhou dynasty.Right now, the research ofwomen issues present a wide range of features.For a long time, the Zhou dynasty is animportant period of studying women’s status.But,the special works on noble women’ssocial status problem of the Zhou dynasty are still rare.The Zhou dynasty is the mostimportant turning period in the history of our country, so it is significant to study thisperiod of noble women’s social status problem.For this problem, this article willseparate three different stages,the Western Zhou dynasty,Spring and Autumn and theWarring States,to make a detailed analysis.Compared with xia and shang period,women’s social status of the Western Zhou dynasty declined.The Spring and Autumnand the Warring States period is the big reform period that the slavery society declinedand the feudal society gradually formed. During this period, there are many noblewomen in politics playing an important role, but the position is far less than men.Theystill were men’s subsidiary.This thesis argues the noble women’s social status of theZhou dynasty and the social reality reflected, and further explore the Zhou dynastynoble women’s social status and changes through the research of noble women of theZhou dynasty in politics, economy, military and education, and other aspects. Revealingwhy the noble women’s status of the Zhou dynasty declined by analysis and discussionof noble women’s social status of the Zhou dynasty. That reflects the social life of theZhou dynasty noble women, and reveals its essence from a side.
