The Research On Zhou Zuoren’s Prose Writing After1949

This is a new prose creation period of Zhou Zuoren after1949, for the man which some years past the allotted span has making a new field in new China. His prose in this period can be divided into three times:mainly concentrated from1949to1952year, from1956to1958year and from1963to1964year. This can be roughly classified into commentation prose, intellectual prose and memories prose, and these three types of prose occupied a very important position in Zhuo Zuoren’s prose creation after1949. The prose in this period has been showed the beauty of art after years. His prose is not only simple and interesting but also including some astringency while the aftertaste is simply infinite. His prose combines the knowledge and interest and is the period for his old age. This period of prose expresses more peaceful mood and transcendence and displays a thought of convergence and tenacity. We can also draw a conclusion from comparison of his published prose, diaries and personal letters. Zhuo Zuoren has showed his worship of new era, but most important thing is that he always stands his own interesting and independent thought. The fate to his prose after1949is lonely, but this has been demonstrated his whole complete creation period. I hope it can be aroused great interest from more researchers.
