| Looking back on the history for Gaogouli,700years of its existence, created a strong ethnic characteristics and culture. Gaogouli had moved the capital several times in his700years’existence But he always followed the system of "one capital of two city", combining the ground city with the mountain city, formed a unique mode of fortification.Pyongyang was the capital of the late Gaogouli dynasty, where conserved a lot of relics of Gaogouli. The capital city as a valuable history-cultural relics of Gaogouli had been saved with the large scale and integrated city system. From its site, the construction of the way, defense facilities and other detectors, it can be seen the perspective of creativity and cohesion of the nation of the ancient Gaogouli people and revealed the ancient Gaogouli unique historical culture and geographical patterns.This study examines the major components that constituted Gaogouli castles which located in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea Pyongyang in order to analyze the main fortress of the geographical environment, the structure shapes, as well as various city defense facilities and their functions. In addition, make an attempt to contrast the Gaogouli capital of Pyongyang with the Chinese Huanren and Jian’s Gaogouli capital site in order to explore the regional characteristics of the Gaogouli capital in Pyongyang, and take this opportunity to make in-depth exploration and excavation of Gaogouli in future.This thesis is constituted of the introduction, text and conclusion.First, the introduction part described the purpose and significance of the thesis, research status, and research methods.Secondly, the text consists of four parts.The first part discusses the relocation of the capital of the Gaogouli late status and distribution of geographical conditions and topographical features of the Gaogouli fortress in the Pyongyang area. First analyze and collate the existing historical literature on the location of the past Pyongyang city, and the next proposed a new point of view of argumentation. Secondly, proposed the general overview of the castle geography and topographical features.The second part mainly examined the specific shape and structure of the Dacheng mountain city and Pyongyang city of Pyongyang region. The Gaogouli castle is constituted of gates, city walls and various ancillary facilities. The various types of buildings and facilities have a unique construction methods and specific functions. This chapter is from the castle’s fortification materials, the wall construction, structure of the city inside and outside the facilities and construction sites, such as aspects of the analysis and elaboration of the basic.The third part is devoted to analysis of the fortress’s military strategic defense system of Pyongyang Gaogouli. Pyongyang, the capital of the late Gaogouli in the Korean Peninsula, is the heyday of the ruling center of the Gaogouli regime on the political, military. Castle as important sites of the Gaogouli capital containing a hidden military defense capabilities. This chapter based on the focus point of view from the military defense of their castle system in the combination of the previous chapter on the city structure’s analysis and discussion of the system.The fourth part is in the form of comparative, analysis of the similarities and differences between the Pyongyang and Chinese territory’s Gaogouli capital. By comparative analysis of four aspects of the location, defense facilities, layout and construction methods, explored the Gaogouli capital’s construction architectural culture elements.The final conclusion on the basis of the above study, generally summarized and made a concise overview of the central theme of this article.Through the research of the Dacheng mountain city and Pyongyang city not only helps to sort out the historical context of the Gaogouli regime, also has important practical significance for the effective protection of the existing city of Gaogouli heritage. |
