Exploration On Myth-Archetype Of Ewenki Literature

Ewenki literature has experienced thousands of years, with Ewenki ancestors’ experience and wisdom, which is national treasure. Ewenki literature takes classical Ewenki ancient myths of Ewenki’s ancestors as the core, and bases on nature worship and shaman worship. With the constant creative development of Ewenki ancestors’particular life and culture environment, and the constant absorption of myth concept of surrounding nations, Ewenki literature finally forms a unique literary system. For this kind of literature with national characteristics, this paper uses Frye’s "Myth-prototype" theory into in-depth analysis and interpretation."Myth-prototype" theory, put forward by Canadian theorists Northrop Frye, rooted on macroscopic and integral academic view and way of thinking, via the existing prototype of mythology, explores the development law of the whole western literature. Ewenki literature takes Ewenki special social environment as the background. However, Ewenki is one of the few minorities that still keeps strong religious beliefs and life custom so far. At the same time, Ewenki’s myth occupies an important position in the whole literature system, which is not only an important part of the present literature, but also the portraiture of the thousands of years’life of Ewenki people. The particularity of Ewenki literature holds the same view with Frye’s theory, so the use of Frye’s theory in Ewenki literature has great academic significance.
