The Study Of Sorrowful Sentiment In Shi Zhecun’s Novels

Sorrowful sentiment is a significant characteristic in "May Fourth" literature, represented typically by Yu Dafu’s novel creation. After Yu,"sorrowfulness" is a slightly old-fashioned topic. But for Shi Zhecun himself, this is an important, while unconsciously ignored research approach. The study about the sorrowful sentiment in Shi Zhecun’s novels, could not only have a overview of his novel creation, but also deepen down into his inner world and prospect into the psychological mechanism of his novel, beauty appreciation mechanism. Then there will be much more thorough understanding about Shi Zhecun from all aspects. This article revealed the sorrowful expressions in his novel and analyzed the connotations and writing origin of the sorrowful expressions from the content, creation techniques and other aspects in the novel.In the first chapter, it revealed the sorrowful expressions of Shi’s novels from the aspects of the content, and specified the sorrowful sentiment in his novels, revealed three connotations of Shi’s sorrowful expressions in his novels were elaborated, the profusion of the sorrowful sentiment was revealed and the reasons why different periods generated different sorrowful sentiment were explained. In chapter two, it revealed the sorrowful expressions of Shi’s novels from the aspects of Shi’s creation techniques. In chapter three, the origin of Shi’s sorrowful expression was investigated from both inside and outside, during which Shi and his works were also again recognized.This article was eventually finished with the help of the instructor. This topic was finally grasped through intensive reading of the text, collecting related materials and studying psychological analysis theory. But due to the lack of time and limited knowledge of myself, there are still regrets like shallow research and so on. Hopefully, there will be improvement in my future study and will get more achievements on this topic.
