The thesis, based on having a good command of network education at home and abroad, promoting English teaching reform of domestic higher education, and taking New Era Interactive College English Teaching System for research case as a network platform, analyzes various factors affecting autonomous learning strategy of college English network, and discusses the strategies promoting autonomous learning strategy of college English network.The thesis is presented as five chapters on the related research from different perspectives.Chapter One:Based on the research background, the introduction describes the tendency of college English network teaching in China, illustrates the current research situation of the strategy of autonomous learning of college English Network at home and abroad and establishes the structure, method, aim, and the significance of the research.Chapter Two:It elaborates the autonomous learning and concept and influential factors for English autonomous learning under network environment. Then it explains the theoretical basis of network autonomous learning——the learning theory of constructionist, the networking learning theory and humanistic theory.Chapter Three:Taking New Era Interactive College English Teaching System for research case as a network platform, the thesis uses questionnaire, interview investigation, and field observation and so on to discover the present problems of autonomous learning strategy of college English network. Then, it analyzes various factors affecting autonomous learning strategy of the network from the angles of network learning environment, teaching management of network autonomous learning of college English, teachers and students.Chapter Four: The chapter centers on solutions to the topic from the following aspects:(1) improving autonomous learning environment of college English and strengthening multiple interactions;(2) paying more attention to teaching management of network autonomous learning;(3) renewing teachers’ideas, changing the role of teachers, enhancing teachers’attainment of the information technology, and especially advancing supervisory level of network;(4) ameliorating students’ information accomplishment, cultivating the strategy of autonomous learning, improving the assessment strategy of autonomous learning, optimizing learning strategy and bettering the capability of learners’ autonomous learning.Chapter Five:In the conclusion part, the author sums up the preliminary conclusions and results of the research, discusses the deficiencies and presents the direction of further research.
