Zeng Pu is famous for "Nie Hai Hua" in the literary circle. However, his later autobiographical novel "Lu Nanzi" is also a work which cannot be ignored. We will clarify Zeng Pu’s novel creation trend and see his enthusiasm and continuous efforts on literature by looking the two of Zeng Pu’s works together. This paper will outline and analyze Zeng Pu’s writing trend through the text analysis on the two novels as well as the text comparison. During the process of combing out the novel type of "Nie Hai Hua", we will find the author’s literary thoughts and his own emotions in each novel type and the novel’s multi-faceted quality. And because of the time span, the comparison between the modified version of "Nie Hai Hua" before and after can also let us see Zeng Pu’s changes in his writing trend. Besides, this paper will analyze how Zeng Pu expressed his emotions through the novel figures preliminarily in "Nie Hai Hua", with Fu Caiyun and Jin Wenqing as the examples. This situation will be detailed in the novel "Lu Nanzi". About "Lu Nanzi", this article will firstly make detailed text analysis of the artistic techniques aspects and compare them with which in "Nie Hai Hua" to see the development of Zeng Pu’s creations. In addition, the former scholars mostly put more emphasis on the side of the critique about the moral system in the patriarchal society about "Lu Nanzi". This article will not only prove this point through two emotion clues in this novel but also will point out the hidden author’s emotion introspective attitude:including the thinking of the spirit and body and the estrangement between people.
