| Bashu’s rich geographical resources are bred and colorful local culture, who has a longhistory of the5000culture also achieved a generation after generation of local cultural celebrities.In last century, a master of traditional Chinese painting-Li Qiongjiu, who created the “Jiazhoupainting school†which is the only school of Bashu, will be born. His extraordinary talent, highancient style, transcendental painting, shocked the art world. His painting has shown full ofpassion and born the innovation potential, was that Li Kuchan, He Haixia, a great master oftraditional Chinese painting by surprise, and won the China art academic reputation, and theBashu earth calligraphy inheritance and development of a far-reaching impact.This essay will begin with the exploration of Bashu’s geographical and cultural resources,and then explore inheritance and development of painting and calligraphy art under the localheavy cultural background, furthermore, analyze Li Qiongjiu’s painting origin.
