Dostoyevsky is a genius as a writer in Russian. You would better be ready for the baptism of your spirit if you are going to deeply read his works, because he shows us a new scale of the existence of the world------Christian heaven on earth. The Brothers Karamazov is the author’s last work as well as the most mature work of his religious speculative ideas. Dostoyevsky’s deepest thoughts on literature, religion and life are reflected in this book. And, the final answer is his thought of religious salvation, the divine Utopian Mentality, which is exactly what this paper will probe into.In part one, according to his life of writing and his view of the world, it is confirmed that Dostoyevsky has pious faith in Orthodox, and there is humanistic ideal in his religious faith. At the same time, the core content and theme of The Brothers Karamazov is identified------the correlation between the children and the brothers Karamazov, and the core theme of love and faith. From Dostoyevsky’s answer to the Lord Chancellor, the keynote of his thought is identified which establishes the theoretical foundation of Dostoyevsky’s divine Utopian mentality of salvation. In part two, we first discuss the realistic basis of Dostoyevsky’s salvation thought. The miserable fate of human being is the root of this thought and the different forms of misery draw the author’s attention to salvation. Then we discuss the utopian character of Dostoyevsky’s salvation thought. Compared with Tolstoy’s salvation thought, the uniqueness of Dostoyevsky’s thought is revealed. At last, the theme of Dostoyevsky’s utopian salvation thought is revealed------exploring human’s divinity, beating bestiality with divinity, bearing humanity with divinity, and then constructing a utopian divine heaven on earth as Dostoyevsky wants. In part three, a deep analysis of The Brothers Karamazov is made. Through interpreting the relationship between the three brothers (Demetrius, Ivan and Allyson) and the children, the analysis of their respective spirits is made, and their respective characteristics and fates are revealed. Starting from criticizing Ivan’s rationalism, Dostoyevsky gives affirmation to the spiritual salvation of Demetrius and the strong love and faith of Allyson. From his affirmation and criticism, the specific features of utopian mentality of divine salvation are revealed and elaborated------absolute divine faith, positive love and spiritual salvation. The aim of part four is to explore the unique art of the Dostoyevsky’s divine utopian mentality. Firstly, Dostoyevsky’s breakthrough and development of traditional realism is discussed from the perspectives of the art of discourse and the beauty of harmony. Secondly, point out that to Dostoyevsky of modernism art’s unique found and interpret. In order to reveal to Dostoyevsky’s redeemed thought has a strong artistic expression and plenty of spirit the root of appeal. At last, the significance of Dostoyevsky’s divine utopian mentality in its time as well as its limitation is concluded. This thought is objectively and fairly judged. Thereby, the analysis of the thought is completed, and the value of this paper becomes clear.Dostoyevsky is a controversial writer because of his political stand. He is reactionary, conservative and schizophrenic. From our position, we can not decide whether this was because he was born in the wrong time, or because he himself was a rebel. But what we are sure is that the achievements which Dostoyevsky and his works have got, no mater in thought or in literature creation, can not be replaced by any other author in his time.
