Lu Xun is the great writer,thinker and revolutionary in the modernhistory. His literary output such as works, manuscripts, letters and diariesinvolved abundant thoughts on the philosophy of life. Lu Xun’sphilosophy of life reflected a generation of the intellectuals’ life andhistorical fate, whose outlook on life was from the revolutionarydemocratism to communism and who were devoted to the country’sindependence and the national liberation in the modern China. It has theimportant status in the modern Chinese philosophy of life.Lu Xun was in the baptism of cruel reality and the nurture ofChinese-English culture. He analyzed and studied the nationallow-quality nature form the starting point of training “all-healthy man”and set up his life ideal building up a country. When studied abroad toJapan, he shouted the pledge “I must keep my words by blood”. Lu Xunthought that the value of life lied in creation and he must the obligations-one has hotness, which emits light and reach to the stage like a willingox I serve the children. He had always adhered to the life attitude such asknowing clearly whom to love and what to hate, keeping sincere,resisting the despair and choosing deliberately, leading a happy life andbeing a man reasonably. Lu Xun followed the life and death outlook,which was to cherish life and oppose suicide, to die that benefits thepeople.Lu Xun’s philosophy of life has nurtured an uncountable number ofthe Chinese people and motivated many people with lofty ideals. It hasthe important and modern value for the modern youth forming a correctliving view, values and to socialist spiritual civilization in the country.But there was some limitation, his philosophy of life was restricted bytimes and historical conditions.
