Research On The Reasoning Of Yi-ology In Pre-qin Period

“Yi-Ology” has dominated the Chinese ancient culture for thousands of years, especially to theTang Dynasty,“Zhou Yi Zheng Yi” has become the most authoritative state-compiled textbook in theimperial examinations. Before the exposure of Western Philosophy, the level of theoretical thinking of theChinese people is mainly exercised and improved by learning “Yi-Ology”. Therefore,“Yi-Ology” isimpossible to surpassed in the study of ancient Chinese logic. Pre-Qin “Yi-Ology”, as the first Chineseancient book with abstract thinking level, is five centuries earlier than western Aristotle’s deduction logic.The logic thinking in Pre-Qin Yi-Ology is the starting point of the history of Chinese logic, which is alsothe starting point of the history of world logic.Firstly,the article analyzes the historical background of the formation of the reasoning thought inPre-Qin Yi-Ology； introduces the similarities and differences between reasoning and the traditionalanalogical reasoning and also points out the necessity of the formation of reasoning thought of Pre-QinYi-Ology, which is mapped by the development process of Chinese ancient scripts. Then, according to22divinatory cases recorded in “Zuo Zhuan” and “Guo Yu”, this Article focuses on discussing4basic waysof reasoning in Pre Qin Yi-Ology.1, reasoning according the images；2, reasoning according to the QianDiagram；3,reasoning according to the line statements；4, reasoning by combining images, Qian Diagram,line statements and divinatory names. Finally, this article analyzes the factors that affect the validity ofreasoning conclusion of Yi-Ology, which are the stock knowledge and the understanding level of theInference.
