| That the teacher-students communication in class is effective is an important factor that influences the teaching quality and the students’academic achievement. After we have recognized the essence of the teaching process in class, we can understand that the teacher-students communication has material meaning for the teaching result.In2007, the Education Department published the Teaching Requirement of the College English, then in the process of reforming college English and developing the college English model project, a new teaching model on the basis of computer and the class is used. However, when we use the new teaching model, there are still some problems in the teacher-students communication, and the teachers still control the whole class, the students are not the subject. In the college English class, the teacher and the students have difficulties in communication. This phenomenon is harmful for the teaching and learning, and also affects the teaching effect. Therefore, we have to recognize the teaching completely and create a new teaching sense. We have to research the mechanism of the teacher-students communication in class, and study the active process of the teacher-students communication in class.This paper aims to use the experience of the teacher-students communication at home and abroad. Based on the new characteristics of the current college English class and the communication model in communication, it analyzes the mechanism of the teacher-students communication in college English class, with the hope of exploring the connotation of the teacher-students communication in college English class. Then, this research investigates the interpersonal subjects of the classroom communication—the teacher and the students, with the purpose of researching the situation of the current teacher-students communication in college English class. The author compares the research data and makes a horizontal and vertical comparison to find out the problems existing in the teacher-students communication in class. At last, the paper enumerates many tactics for improving the teacher-students communication. The author mainly adopts the research methods of questionnaire and interview in Lijiang College of Guangxi Normal University, including thirty college English teachers and ninety students of Grade Two, and analyzes the data with SPSS17.0. This research uses quantitative and qualitative research methods to learn about the current situation of the communication between teachers and students.In the context of the promotion of quality education, the teacher and the students should have communication awareness. Only in this way, can the teaching process be active, can the interpersonal factor in the classroom communication get highlighted, and can the state of both teaching and learning in high quality be realized. Therefore, the research on the classroom communication is the requirement of the new curriculum reformation, and it has great value and significance to the research. |
