In this research paper, the writer try to look at Michel Tournier’s "New Fable" novel writing through the intertextuality sight,"Friday" as the main text example, including the intertextuality relationship of the works and the times interaction, especially with the prototype of the capitalism myth "Robinson Crusoe". The writer strives to study the multi-level relationship between the texts through the close reading hoping to open up a new interpretation of Tournier.In the introduction, The writer comb the related theory of intertextuality to provide a theoretical basis for the text. Brief in which to recognize each of the theoretical content and the great controversy, to clarify the boundary of the theory involved, meanwhile point out the complexity and multi-faceted of Tournier’s works which demonstrate in such theory perspectiveChapter Ⅰ is about the writing process of Tournier who is the typical writer of the "new fable". From genre connotations, writers to the narrative features, the writer strives to give readers a clearer understanding of this genre. Section Ⅲ presents " Friday" which will establish the initial perception of this work.Chapter Ⅱ is focus on the "parody" theory. The writer studies the intertextual relationship between the two Robinson, two Friday, and the heaven&Limbo. Approaching from the characters, plot, narrative features, The writer takes the emphasis on the differences of the texts before and after, and the reason for this difference.In the third chapter, the writer will use Bakhtin’s "dialogue" theory, the text as supporting point, mining internal intertextuality characteristics, respectively,"Robinson Crusoe" and "Friday" is defined as the"Monologue" and "Dialogue"myth. Focus on the Discrimination of "Friday","multi-vocal" intertextuality.Chapter Ⅳ is focus on the context of times, within the theme of "survival or existence" and "overcome the natural or back to the mother" to analyze the performance of the two eras, to find the logical relationship between the formation and the times of the two works, make it not just the simple text analysis, and rising to the level of philosophy. The entire paper study from three levels which include "intertextual""inside the text""the text with the times" to the discourse of intertextuality, the writer is not fixed at one aspect of the theory, and striving to achieve the multi-faceted and multi-level interpretation.
