The human body is the carrier of clothing. Through the natural attribute of "body", clothing shows the wearer’s formal beauty. From Human era of the wild and naked state, and later to shelter and to the production of apparel, clothing gives the significance of the body of civilization, the body also made clothing which was originally attached to the body and the existence of substances into the symbol of a civilization. However, over time, the development of body and clothing changes as follows:naked-dress-dress naked. This change is enormous, not only reflects the changes of social civilization, also reflects the development of human psychological and aesthetic aspects. So, nudity is an important aspect related to the body and clothing of civilization, which contains important psychological and aesthetic significance.At the same time, after China’s reform and opening up, the Western culture has run into our lives, has a huge impact in China that has a five thousand years history of dress covering. Women’s skirts are getting shorter, and collar getting lower, or even part of the public regard expose as synonymous of beautiful and sexy. Whether from the philosophical level, or the methodology and values, china is different from the West. The West is not fully applicable to the aesthetic standards of female dress in China, but also make its integration into the local culture.With the status of women rising today, more and more women begin to work, and have more leadership and right to express themselves. Then the public also concern and want to explore:in work environment, how female can express right beauty. So from the point of view in office, this article makes organic combination of the female body, clothing, and aesthetic psychology. It researches the bare fraction of women’s clothing, to consistent with the requirements of the work environment, to show women’s work charm and aesthetic taste, and to contribute to the work efficiency.Through two studies, this article intends to explore the aesthetic experience of the women’s clothing bare fraction in office.The first part (pre-experiment):to determinate the highest level of bare fraction in an office environment as the acceptable baseline in the formal test. Randomly select110persons in Beijing and Chongqing, whose ages are from20to30years old, having work experiences or are working.Independent variables are divided into three parts:chest, arms and legs. Based on daily exposed experience and clothing styles, three levels were set for the three variables respectively, and each level has greater of the bare fraction comparing to the next level. Participants are asked to choose what they like best from these three exposed levels of the three independent variables respectively. Then the acceptable baseline are got which is, in an office environment, the maximum bare people can accept, as a baseline for further research.The second part (formal test):On the basis of preliminary experiments, pictures are drew according to the different bare levels of the argument. Then in an office environment, participants are asked to give scores to the different degree of nudity female beauty preference. Finally, we can statistic the date to get the aesthetic preference of the different bare clothing, to examine public awareness of the bare fraction of dress for women in the office.According to the pre-experimental results, the research background and women’s clothing styles, the bare fractions of the three independent variables (chest, arms and legs) are divided into three bare level s of the daily common dress.27pictures are drawing in3*3*3combination of bare levels on the selected female model vector, and get the preference scores of27pictures. Randomly40persons in Beijing and Chongqing are selected, whose ages are from20to30years old, having work experiences or are working. Participants are asked to rate these pictures. Then we get statistics data.We can get the aesthetic preferences of the different bare clothing, in order to explore how we wear in the office environment not only appropriately but beautifully.This study found that:1、The most bare fraction of the women dress in the office environment(1) The maximum exposed arm is:exposing the whole arm, obscuring shoulder as much as possible (P<0.05);(2) The maximum exposed breasts is:chest bare moderate, showing a little cleavage, is permitted and accepted (P<0.01);(3) The maximum exposed leg is:dress to cover the buttocks, exposing the entire leg.(P<0.001)2、The beauty preference of female dress bare in office environment:(1) In an office environment, arms and chest bare in women dress are complementary: when the female chest showing the maximum degree of nudity, women will be best to select the short-sleeved dress in order to play the best aesthetic experience (P<0.05);when the female chest showing moderate nudity, women will be best to select the short-sleeved dress or sleeves, both to play the best aesthetic experience (P<0.05);When the arm is bared increasely, chest bare need to be reduced, and vice versaWhen the breasts are not showing nudity, the selection of revealing bare arms is a wise choice, and has played the best aesthetic experience, avoiding wearing the sleeve clothing, so as not to appear too rigid.(P<0.05)(2) In an office environment, women’s dress in the leg exposed has fixed aesthetic experience of preference:Regardless of how the upper body dressed, female legs bare fraction is as follows:half the leg exposed. In other words, legs always baring around the knee is the most appropriate, with the highest aesthetic experience (P<0.001)The theoretical significance of this study is that, the bare fraction of clothing directly impacts on the aesthetic experience of wearers. However, in the domestic, there are a lot of philosophical researches, not quantitative. In the theoretical development, that we research the clothing bare in multi-angle and multi-level of the interconnected network of culture, aesthetics, society, psychology, economy, can make scholars and the general public has a more profound and comprehensive understanding; the quantitative research of the clothing shelter and bare problem in the psychology field has played a very good in promoting and facilitating role in the field of domestic physical and clothing.The practical significance is that, due to the collision and the interweaving of Eastern and Western cultures, people are confused with women’s clothing bare in a certain degree. So the research of the aesthetic experience of women’clothing bare, not only make the general public, in the face of massive clothing information and popular trends, understand their own culture and aesthetic standards and show the beauty of the clothing on the basis of its natural attributes and cultural heritage; and under the impact of Western culture, help the general public aware of the characteristics of Chinese clothing culture and advantages, and embark on a path consistent with China’s own national conditions for the global apparel road. Then when people buy clothing, the research can come up with better guidance and constructive comments to improve the people’s consumption level, thus further promoting the development of the garment industry and the entire social and economic development.Characteristics of this study is that:the combination of professional women with the aesthetic psychology; investigate the bareness in clothing to get the aesthetic preferences of female dress in an office environment; a large number of studies have focused on the philosophical and theoretical discussion and analysis, but this study focuses on the clothing bare fraction of the data collection and empirical analysis; picture test method will not only be the subject of a picture form of intuitive show, but also improve interests and enthusiasm in the answer.
