| In order to study and evaluate the literary styles of classical Chinese novels,we should come back to analysis novel texts,only in this way can we obtain the most persuaive judgement. Kuai Yuan is a representative of supernatural tales collections in Ming Dynasty who contains both sketches and legendary genre.However, its stylistic characteristics and value have always been neglected.Therefore,in this paper,we firstly reclassify and rename the literary styles of classical Chinese novels.On this basis,we discriminate the two styles of novels in Kuai Yuan,and then study their differences and characteristics.Through the case study of Kuai Yuan,we introspect the old cognition of supernatural tales with sketches genre in academic circles.This paper has three parts,and the specific structure as follows:Chapter I hackles the controvercy over stylistic discrimination of the literary styles of classical Chinese novels during Chinese histroy,and then advices a standard about how to classify the literary styles of classical Chinese novels and supernatural tales.That is:With the appearance of legend Tang as a demarcation point,both of their classification can be divided into two periods.As for the classification of supernatural tales in the latter period,we can use theme and style as two different angles.Chapter II discriminates literary styles of the novels in Kuai Yuan from four aspects:systems,rhetorical features,expression forms,aesthetic spirit and objects.The two different literary styles of the novels in Kuai Yuan are sketches genre and legendary genre. Among the753pieces of novels in Kuai Yuan,we identify737pieces of novels who belong to the former style and16ones who belong to the latter.Chapter III analysises narrative art of literary sketches in Kuai Yuan from narrative perspective and scheduling.And then it discusses the entire narrative style of literary sketches from narrative purport and beauty.After the study of specific works in Kuai Yuan,we sugguest to reassess the value of supernatural tales with sketches genre by using a stylistic criterion different from that of legendary genre. |
