| This is a report of translation whose source text is an Articles of Association(Qiming Fortune Investments Limited). Based on Newmark’s text category theory,translator alternatively uses semantic translation strategy, communicative translationstrategy and relevance translation method to solve problems met in the process oftranslation. This report is divided into four parts: Part One introduces the translationproject on the whole, including the project background, objectives and the significanceof the project. Part Two presents the basic information of the source text, including theoverview of Articles of Association, stylistic features and lexical features. Part Three isabout translation difficulties and methods. Part four concludes the lessons, implicationand unsolved problems in the translation project. |
