This thesis adopts allusions of Ci-Poem and their translation as the study objectthrough the analysis of intertextuality and dialogism. On the one hand, this thesistries to find out trace of intertextuality of the study object, on the other hand, combining dialogism with translation study, it compares and analyses differentversions and their effects in order to explore the most accpectable translation strategyof Ci-Poems’ allusions.Based on intertextuality, this thesis analyses works of Xin Qiji, a well-knownpoet in South Song dynasty. According to dialogism of Bakhtin, any dialogue isuniversal, open and uncompleted, this thesis applies dialogism to translationactivities and classifies five dialogue relations in translation; namely, relationsbetween authors and translators, original texts and translators, translators andversions, translators and readers of versions, versions and their readers. By analysingdifferent versions of the same Ci-Poem, according to different methods of quotingallusions, this thesis not only tries to find out trace of intertextuality, but also judgesdifferent translation strategies and their effects from perspective of above-mentionedfive dialogue relations. This thesis comes to the following conclusions through the above researchmethods: firstly: intertextuality obviously exists in allusions of Ci-Poem and theirversions; secondly: dialogism shares a close relationship with translation activitiesand there are five dialogue relations in original texts and versions; thirdly: since20thcentury, there translation paradigms--regarding author as the center, text the centerand reader the center not only failed to comprehensively guide translation activities, but can also hardly come to a reasonable explanation of the text generation. Onlycombine these three paradigms together based on intertextuality and dialogism, canthis method successfully bring the dialogue among author sof the original texts, original texts, translators, versions and readers of versions. These dialogues can effectively guide translation activities and realize the purpose oftranslation-communication. Specifically speaking, literal translation aided byexplanatory notes as well as integration of literal and free translation are twocomparatively acceptable translation methods because they care about both author,SL text and readers, TL text. Besides, the good balance of above mentioned fiveelements is closely related with the "degree"of translation and the conveying ofinformation. Only with the consideration of five elements and integration ofdialogism as well as intertextuality, can people obtain a possibility in searching for amore acceptable translation method and better introducing allusions of Ci-poem.
