The translation material was provided by the Foreign Language Teaching and StudyPress. The author translated Chapter5-10, Chapter30and Chapter31.According to the experience of other schools’ MTI, the thesis of MTI is composed oftranslation practice and theory. To a deeper degree, it is the combination of practice and theory.It is an innovation comparing with former theses. The practice is about10thousand wordtranslation. The translation report is the analysis, case analysis and conclusion of the practice.All these activities are based on the functional equivalence. Through the case analysis, theauthor resolved the difficult points and focal points. Meanwhile, the author made comparisonwith other translation editions, concluded the strengths and weaknesses of each translation.Moreover, it discussed the existence of the finite edition of translation.After so much practice, comparison, the author regards the finite edition of translationis not existed. It is an ideal for the translation, or high regards for a translation. With thechanges of time and times, any translation might be deserted and superseded by newtranslation. So the retranslation exists. Different translation has different audiences andreaders. The life of a translation edition lies in the renovation. Therefore, the finite translationdoes not exist.Compare with other translation editions, the language of the translation keep with thetimes. The author gained a lot both in practice and theory. The author realized the qualities aprofessional translator should have.
