Xun Zi’s “Ming Fen” thought has traditionally been studied very many, but it has always been limitedto explain the thought that was “Clear and respective duty so that they become a group” from a certainperspective of the social organization system theory. The article thinks that “Ming Fen” is the eyes of thebook which name is called XunZi, and when using it to examine and clear the papers of XunZi, We can geta feeling of suddenly see the light. Based on this, in this paper, the research vision of "Ming Fen" thoughtwill be extended to all sections of the book XunZi, and some important fragments of “Ming Fen” thoughtscattered in the article will be got together, so that the ideological content of Xun Zi’s “Ming Fen” thoughtshould be showed completely.The article maintains that, in addition to “Clear and respective duty so that they become a group” asthe core concept of social organization theory, Xun Zi’s “Ming Fen” thought has also included that “Toclarify the difference between human and nature”,“To clarify the difference between nature and culture”,“To clarify the difference between a gentleman and a villain” and “To clarify the difference between thekingly way and overbearing” four aspects and so on. In addition, it is also an important part of Xun Zi’s“Ming Fen” thought to clarify the difference between the previous king and later King. Small speaking, thepurpose of “Ming Fen” thought was in order to save except evil; to a great extent, it is in order to make thewhole country in all aspects stable and harmonious. Therefore, Xun Zi’s “Ming Fen” thought has importantsocial significance.Xun Zi has taken “Ming Fen” as a means to clarify the difference between human and nature, natureand culture, a gentleman and a villain, the kingly way and overbearing. Its foundation of methodology is“Make the name and the reality conform” thought of the Confucian. This paper argues that, before thediscussion of the points “the difference between nature and culture”, Xun Zi has also made an importantdistinction to the nature which has not yet commenced and the nature which has already unfolded; it is abright viewpoint proposed in this paper that it is different from the previous. The boundaries between “theprevious king” and “the later King” have been relatively vague in the academic circles. Based on Xun Zi’s“Make the name and the reality conform” thought, this article attempts to clarify, and makes it as a supplement of Xun Zi’s “Ming Fen” thought. This section also becomes another characteristic of the “MingFen” thought research.
