Computer-aided Song Ci Poetry Study

Computer, concerned as the most important aid tool for contemporary technology research, plays a decisive role in many different realms. However, in the scientific research of liberal arts field, computer is still applied in some basic stages, such as text processing and retrieval. Therefore, it needs further exploration in how to better apply computer technology in the scientific research of liberal arts field.This paper combines the computer technology and Song Ci Poetry study, and uses computer program to process texts of Song Ci Poems for statistics and analysis, in order to realize automatic computer label Song Ci Poems metrical patterns, automatic computer comparison and analysis on Song Ci Poems tmetrical patterns, statistic accounting of Song Ci Poetry vocabulary, analysis on vocabulary image of Song Ci Poetry, etc,.The main contents of this study include:First, automatically label Song Ci poems metrical patterns through computer. Establish the ancient Chinese phonetics database and then match and label Song Ci poems metrical patterns through computer. This paper offers a solution in dealing with polyphones in the label process, and gets a rather good result at current stage.Second, compare and analyze the texts of computer labeled Song Ci poems metrical patterns and artificial labeled metrical patterns, mainly compared with Qin Ding Ci Pu ("The Ci Poems Metrical Patterns Verified under Imperial Order", Qing Dynasty). The results show that Qin Ding Ci Pu has a high accuracy on standard forms, over90%accuracy on single sentences, and over50%accuracy on whole poems, but exists errors in variant forms. This proves that artificial processed massive data cannot get expected results in low frequency situations, but computer can well correct this problem. Meanwhile, during the comparison process, the computer can generate a new dictionary of Song Ci poems metrical patterns, which is more detailed and accurate.Third, the statistic of Song Ci poems vocabulary shows a great difference in the usage of vocabulary in different Ci Pai. Taken further consideration, different words contain different emotions, especially in poems; the differences are more apparent than other literature works because poems are short but abound of emotion. Therefore, to analyze the difference of vocabulary image in different Ci Pai is in fact to analyze the difference of emotions, and these differences may be the reason that makes a poet selects one certain Ci Pai in writing.
