The essay explores the task-based language teaching theory and its application inChinese Grammar Teaching of TCSL. It probes into the mode of task-based Chinese grammarteaching in TCSL, the design of the tasks as well as the grammar teaching effects andproblems found in the practice of applying the task-based language teaching theory. The essaycontains six chapters.In Chapter One, it introduces the reasons of choosing the title and illustrates theimportance of TCSL grammar teaching and the main grammar classroom teaching mode.Chapter Two reviews the background, development and theoretical basis of the task-basedlanguage teaching theory, and then summarizes the application of the task-based languageteaching theory into TCSL. Meanwhile, in the chapter of exploring the application status inChinese Grammar Teaching of TCSL by combining the teaching examples, the essayemphasizes the definition of the task-basked teaching, the basic practice principles andpresents the task-basked grammar classroom teaching mode and some task examples whichapply the theory to the grammar teaching design of TCSL. The chapter of the effect analysisof the task-based grammar teaching combines a classroom teaching memoir and the interviewto the related students. Chapter Five reveals some difficulties to carry out the task-basedgrammar teaching in TCSL from the perspective of teachers and students.Finally, the essay points out that it is high time for the TCSL teachers to apply thetask-basked language teaching theory to the grammar teaching, putting forward someproblems which require to be improved in the grammar teaching practice.
