This Paper is aimed at studying vocabulary errors of German native speakers based onall the composition materials of the German and Austrian students that stored in HSKDynamic Composition Corpus. It is presented by a general description and analysis ofthe overall situation of all vocabulary errors, an exploration of the vocabulary Errorscharacteristics of German native speakers that different from other native speakers,and some discussion on Chinese vocabulary teaching methods to German nativespeakers on the basis of above investigation and analysis, so that some useful proposalcan be used in practical.This paper has summarized all the vocabulary Errors of German native speakers basedon the classification of HSK corpus firstly and listed them out, and then it classifiedall the errors according to theirpart of speech, in order to provide an intuitive anddetailed general overview of them. Subsequently, this article has classified all Errorsinto interlingual errors, intralingual errors and others three categories according to theErrors genetic classification standards, and analyzed them statistically. Because thereis noabsolute objective standard to identify thecauses of Errors, therefore, the paperhas firstly estimated an interlingual Errors list according to the Chinese-Germanvocabulary correspondence, and compared them with the error sentences of studentsfrom Japan, South Korea, Europe, United States and other countries that stored inHSK corpus one by one, in order to identify if the error only happend in Germannative Speakers. Through this way, a German interlingual transfer error list is comingout and then this paper has conducted a detailed analysis on them. After that, we haveclassified and analyzed all the intralingual errors and errors categorized as “others”.At last, based on the results of the above inspections, this paper has conducted some discussion trying to explore effective methods for Chinese vocabulary teaching toGerman native speakers, in order to provide some practical suggestions in this aspect.
