The Study On The Effect Of Moral Transgression To Guilt

Guilt is a kind of most important emotion of self-consciousness. When one feels that he transgresses any standard, he may feel guilt. Guilt as the highly socialization negative moral emotion of human is produced by the one evaluate and acknowledge negative events. Guilt has important impact on the human’s later behavior and also has close relationship with health and socialization. On account of the effect of guilt to human, it is an important topic in sociology, psychology and behavioral science.Study1adopts questionnaires to investigate the actual state of college student’s guilt. In the advance research, we revise the guilt questionnaire in order to make the result more accurate. Meantime, the advance research selects the suitable people to go deep into research. In the second part of Study1, Adopting the questionnaire to the guilt level in the just、care、forgiveness moral events and the guilt level in the harm others’ heath、ruin others’fame、make others lost money. In the first, I braid the moral event. The questionnaire is to measure the level of guilt in the different moral event. The results as follows:①The level of guilt is different in the three type of moral event. The one has highest guilt when he disobeys the justice value, the one has higher guilt when he disobeys the care value, and the one has high guilt score when he disobeys the forgiven value.②Among the different results of moral event, there are significant differences, when harm others’ heath, the one has highest guilt; When ruin others’ fame, there is little guilt; when make others lost money, there have least guilt.Study2adopts the experiments and questionnaires to explore the features of attention of the different level guilt group’s attention. The experiment is using dot-probe paradigm to test the different guilt ones’attention to moral vocabulary,The results as follows:①There are significant differences between the higher guilty group and the lower guilt ones. The higher guilty group spends shorter time on the moral vocabulary. It means that the moral vocabulary causes the higher guilt more emotion, so the reaction is shorter;②There are no significant differences between the negative moral vocabulary and the positive moral vocabulary in the higher guilty group; There are no significant differences among the justice moral vocabulary, the care moral vocabulary, the forgiven moral vocabulary in the higher guilty group, it means that the different vocabulary cause one same emotions. The test of explanation deflection is based on the questionnaires of fuzzy moral events. The results as follows that in the fuzzy moral events the higher guilty group always enplane the event based on the care value, There are significant differences between the care value and the justice value.
