The "New Village" Narrative Literature In Malaysia

"New Village" as a product of Malaysia’s unique colonial history, showing adifferent face in different Writers. This paper attempts to explore the relationshipbetween literary narrative of the "village" as the "village" of historical events,literature describes the "village" preliminary inquiry whether it reflects, recording,reproduction or performance of the New Village "historical truth"(if there is aso-called "historical truth" speech). The thesis focuses on the "village" is how the"narrative", why was this way or that the "narrative", and "New Village, described" animportant role in constructing ethnic identity of the MCA.
