The Optimization And Application Research On Visual Perceptual Learning With Gabor Model

In China, especially in rural areas, due to the unenlightened concepts and medical standards, many young visually impaired children become adult patients with amblyopia for fail to get proper treatment at young time or being diagnosed when grow up. They encountered great difficulties in their life, education and work for the visual defects. In traditional theory, adult patients with amblyopia are considered as hard to improve visual function with treatment due to out of visual sensitive period. But the latest psychological research found that using perceptual learning with specific training (Gabor detection task), they can improve their spatial visual defect situation by certain degree of contrast sensitivity and visual acuity enhancement. It brings a new method to treat adult amblyopia.How to optimize adult amblyopia in perceptual learning training process, and providing personalized training methods, enhance the effect of perceptual learning training is the practical problems needed to resolve urgently in clinical treatment.According to these problems, paper brings forward the optimization method in adult amblyopia perceptual learning trainings (Gabor detection task), including the following three aspects:1. Optimization idea of training based on causes of amblyopia and the mechanisms of visual perceptual learning.2. in order to quantitative describe the level of visual deflect and training effect, the paper analysis the lack of traditional contrast sensitivity model, bring forward form sensitivity evaluation model.3. According to optimization idea paper describes the Specific methods in perceptual learning training based on form sensitivity evaluation model.Overall, the main content of this paper is providing a better clinical way of adult amblyopia treatment. In the process of optimize, I established form sensitivity evaluation model which gives a better way to evaluate the form sense of patient.
